When I had an exam that needed memorization, I tried to connect the specific thing with a picture. For example when I had to memorize the year, artist, and the name of hundred different art works back in Art History class. I wrote the year and drew the artist's face on the picture from my note. It will help you a lot when you have to memorize something that was complicated!
My experience tells me that the test result depends very much how good I prepare at least two weeks before the test. It is not the night or two before. Mostly importantly, how good I perform at the test has a lot to do with the healthiness of my body and brain. So sleep well, eat well, and pray well.
I study by making study guides... this helps when you are making it and afterward you can look over it and revise :) well... but it takes time... so I ususally makes them after each unit is over...
I usually make notecards if it is neccessary...i think the easiest way is look at the book and take notes..then before the test, u just have to look at the notes again~~
Since alomost all my teacher already gave me study guide, i will just try to do all of the questions first without the notes. Then the question that i dont know i would just leave it blank, and i will use my notes and answer with it but i will put a * or circle the question# so i know what i dont know and need more study on it. If there still any question that i dont know then i would ask my teacher.
Well studying is good but that will just put more stress on you when taking the test. The way I get good grades and ace tests are to listen throughly and ask questions through the lesson. It might not be the same for you but once I hear it, it just sticks to my mind and when the test comes I just dig it back up again. But if you want to study I suggest you be quizzed by a parent or fried because you can see what you know and things you really need to remember. Good Luck!

If you want to study you should just review your other tests you have already taken. Then you should ask some one to quiz you.
